Terms of Use

Acceptance

By creating or using a MyCHA account, submitting a registration, purchasing a program, viewing a testing report, using a staff or admin account, or selecting an app checkbox that references these terms, the user agrees to these Terms of Use and the CHA Privacy Policy. If the user is registering an athlete, the user confirms they are the athlete's parent, legal guardian, or authorized team/program contact.

Use of the CHA App

The CHA™ app is provided by Central Hockey Academy Ltd. for program registration, MyCHA™ accounts, athlete testing reports, scheduling, payment support, family communication, and CHA™ staff administration. Users must provide accurate information and use the app only for lawful CHA-related purposes.

Account Access

Parents, guardians, athletes, coaches, staff, and administrators are responsible for keeping account access private. Staff and administrator access may be limited by role. Shared, transferred, or unauthorized access is not permitted.

CHA Intellectual Property

The CHA™ app, source code, screen layouts, report templates, written materials, training content, graphics, logos, program names, benchmark structure, standards, scoring methods, calibration logic, report-generation process, and database structure are owned by or licensed to Central Hockey Academy Ltd.

Central Hockey Academy™, CHA™, MyCHA™, CHA Athlete Testing Report™, CHA Development Plan™, and related names, designs, report formats, and marks are trademarks or proprietary assets of Central Hockey Academy Ltd. Trademark applications pending. No ownership rights are transferred by account creation, registration, purchase, report access, or app use.

Athlete Testing Data and Reports

CHA™ testing reports are provided for athlete development, family review, team service delivery, and authorized coaching use. CHA owns and controls its testing system, benchmark tables, calibration logic, standards, aggregated or anonymized performance data, report templates, and internal methodology.

Users may not copy, scrape, reproduce, extract, resell, redistribute, publish, upload, train models on, reverse engineer, or build a competing system from CHA testing reports, benchmark data, athlete testing data, report templates, standards, or app content without written authorization from Central Hockey Academy Ltd.

Confidential Information

Staff, contractors, coaches, team contacts, and administrators may receive access to confidential CHA information. Confidential information must be used only for authorized CHA work and may not be disclosed, copied, exported, or retained outside approved CHA systems unless CHA authorizes it in writing.

No Performance Guarantee

Testing reports, benchmarks, recommendations, and development plans are educational and coaching tools. They do not guarantee team placement, playing level, selection, scholarship opportunity, injury prevention, health outcome, or future performance.

Payments, Refunds, and Program Rules

Program purchases, refund rules, waivers, conduct expectations, medical disclosure, pickup and drop-off rules, and media terms are shown during registration or in CHA program materials. Continued use of the app and registration for programs means the user agrees to the applicable CHA terms for that service.

Privacy

Use of personal information is described in the Central Hockey Academy Privacy Policy. Families may contact CHA to ask privacy questions or request correction of inaccurate account or athlete information.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the applicable laws of Canada. The parties will first try to resolve concerns directly with CHA in writing.
